Check out the branding on these bottles – yes, I know you have to skip all the way to the bottom to see the branding on the bottles. Minimalist design is certainly trending right now, and I think the clean lines and bright, complementary colors make for an eye-catching product. These guys care about what’s inside the bottle, too, of course.
I definitely hopped on the cider train a long time ago. I don’t know where I first had cider over ice, but I think I discovered it myself (at least that’s the story I’m going with). I still get weird looks from people when I order my cider with a pint glass of ice. Some bar with cider on tap tried to give me cider in a pint glass with the ice already in it. That wasn’t going to fly with me – I didn’t order 1/3 of a glass of cider and 2/3 of a glass full of ice. I think you hear me knocking.
Crispin sent me some cider glasses that don’t really work for beer. They accommodate a twelve ounce glass of cider over the supplementary amount of ice, so even a sixteen ounce beer looks pathetic in these huge glasses. The cider, however, looks spectacular.
