Narragansett week continues with Narragansett Light! Two down and two to go. What do you think about the styling of these cans? I think it nails the traditional, fun, slightly kitschy beer-feel right on the head. Their website looks like it was designed by whoever the most popular design firm was about ten years before Sterling Cooper.
Day two of You might be a New Englander… If you still call it The Gaahden, you might be a New Englander. If you can give me directions to your place from 90 or 95, you might be a New Englander. If you can now die in peace, you might be a New Englander. If you know anything is possible, you might be a New Englander. If you’ve ever parked in someone’s front yard and then walked two miles to go to a football game, you might be a New Englander. If you call everyone south of Stamford, CT “traitor,” you might be a New Englander. And of course, if you’ve ever had a ‘Gansett, you might be a New Englander.
Now, Narragansett is in NYC! Tallboy arrived in Times Square just the other day! You can find Narragansett lager wherever people only pronounce Rs correctly if they’re at the beginning of a syllable.
That might be a little cerebral… Think about it, though – it’s the truth.
Have a ‘Gansett!
