It tastes like bananas…

B-A-N-A-N-A-S!

Truthfully… It does – watch the video.

One of them there Maine beers! You know, they say you can never actually be impartial. Juries are supposed to be impartial, but there’s jury selection… Judges are supposed to be impartial. My dad is a mediator and he’s supposed to be impartial, but everyone has a past, and that past creates the preconceptions with which we walk into every scenario we’re faced with daily.

My task was walking into this promotion without turning it into a bubbling love-fest for Allagash Curieux and I totally failed (and I’m not going to try to make up for that). This is one of the most interesting beers out there today. Aged in bourbon barrels, every batch is a little different. This one didn’t taste like bananas as much as the last one, and it should be noted that I had a different year (2010 as opposed to 2009).

Enjoy!
