Ever bruised your coccyx? I gotta tell you, long trips on busses with hard seats are not quite as fun when your coccyx is bruised.

Check this out – Shipyard has a blog!

Created by Shipyard’s master brewer Alan Pugsley, Double Old Thumper delivers a spicy hop aroma and a brilliant deep copper hue.

Well, Mr. Pugsley just helped with the “Appearance” section below. That sounds like a paint name – Brilliant Deep Copper. Right between Hot Tottie and Burnt Siena. Ever looked at the paint names very carefully at Home Depot? I’m sorry, but the Ralph Lauren paint colors just sound way more cerebral than the ones from Glidden or whoever else is selling paint. Nascar Orange and Dusky Horizon are exactly the same color. Just kidding – Ralph Lauren doesn’t make bright orange paint – duh.

About the Old Thumper – when this hit the nose, it screamed SAKE! Not “for goodness sake,” but “I think this sake would accompany my sushi perfectly wine” sake. If there isn’t a sake company called For Goodness Sake or Pete’s Sake, (or Crissake? Too religious) there should be. This is the entire sake experience with bubbles and a foamy head. I’d love to do a side by side comparison of the two. Not one that’s too ricey, though. Have you ever had a cloudy, unfiltered sake? I had one that tasted like Golden Crisp.

Just The Facts
